Bokeh Magazine is one of the best and finest photography magazines available. The articles are so well written, full of information and insight and the layout it excellent too. You can see that the people behind the magazine love what they do and are full of passion about photography. Its a very good source for everyone seeking tips, tutorials and more about image making. Every issue is a reading and viewing pleasure. Thanks to the Bokeh Team for such a high quality photography magazine.
Very interesting, interviews with photographers get you ideas with what they had to struggle and what approach they had to have success. Also the shots shown get you a lot of new ideas.
Nice mag, surprisingly good articles for a photography magazine. And great photos of course.... My only suggestion would be to use a larger font size for the articles. Keep up the good work.
Some bad moments
1.) The content, respectively the articles are ok, but can be more detailed
2.) App. with iPad I
3.) Too much advertising (Im paying for the content and not for the advertisement)
4.) The app is not really usefull for offline reading
but i could download only 6-7 issues, instead of the promised 15! ...
i payed for a complete year (15 issues!!) very disappointed! :-(
I was soooo frustrated with the design of this pub. You tap to see a photo and you have to turn your iPad. Not just once, but over and over and over again. Publisher: you MUST ad an auto orientation capability like every other pub. Please find a designer that knows how to make type beautiful. The type and design of this is like a basement skateboard publication. Photographers expect waaaaay more.
To download each issue need to wait days and days. A lot of bugs. The app is terminated by itself when reading. Where is your bugs catcher?
Just to be honest - Im one of the contributors to this magazine (but not on the staff or otherwise affiliated with the company). I hadnt seen any of the other articles or photos in it until it was finished and appeared online. Im really impressed with the quality of the other articles and photos here and proud to be included with them. I hope youll check it out and leave your comments.
This terrific first issue dives deep into its content and doesnt look back. The contributors and articles are obviously very passionate about their craft, speaking in technical specifics without losing sight of the art. This is a must have magazine for photographers who want to get to that next level. Looking forward to more issues!
